メロディック・デス・メタル・バンド「Myproof」のThor(トール/Vo)とShimpei(シンペイ/G&Vo)、 メタルコア・バンドSailing Before The WindのBitoku(ビトク/B)、 Sailing Before The Windやプログレッシブ・メタルコア・バンドIsolutionsのYuki(ユーキ/G)によ結成され、2015年に活動を開始した「ALPHOENIX」！
全編日本語詞によるスクリームとデュアル・ギターを特徴とし、Thorの描く人間の内面世界、Shimpeiが生み出す哀哭のメロディ、Bitokuの明晰なベース・プレイ、Yukiのテクニカル・ギター・ワーク。この奇跡の均衡が、細分化したサブジャンルを唯一のメタルへと回帰させる。Aljoscha Siegをメイン・エンジニアとして起用。アートワークはフランスの鬼才タトゥー・アーティスト、Pochemuchkaによる完全描き下ろし。
